We are seeking a skilled professional to perform a wide range of engineering duties in support of construction project works, including performing calculations, preparing cost analyses, reviewing BOQs, drawings, and specifications. The role involves reviewing contractor activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and verifying mechanical submissions and other documents against applicable standards, authority regulations, and project specifications. The candidate must have strong technical and commercial judgment, particularly in evaluating variations, claims, and new items. Familiarity with local authority requirements, permits, and NOCs is essential. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, managing day-to-day project activities, coordinating with technical consultants, and overseeing multiple small to medium-sized projects. The candidate will collaborate with engineers and architects to define project specifications, evaluate progress, and regularly produce detailed status reports. Strong skills in analyzing and reporting project status—including schedule, costs, risks, and opportunities—are required, along with the ability to support risk assessments and ensure timely resolution of issues. Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.
