We are looking for a qualified professional to support infrastructure project works through a variety of engineering duties, including calculations, computations, and preparation of project cost analyses. The role involves reviewing contractor work to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, supervising field inspections for projects under construction, resolving on-site issues, and verifying work-in-progress as well as completed works. The candidate will review drawings and plans submitted by consultants and contractors to ensure conformance with applicable standards and specifications. A strong technical and commercial judgment, particularly in handling variations, claims, and new items, is essential. Knowledge of required permits and NOCs is also necessary. Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety compliance, managing day-to-day project operations, coordinating with technical consultants, and overseeing the execution of 2 to 3 smaller projects (budget range: 1 to 1.5M AED). The role requires producing timely and accurate project reports, collaborating with engineers and architects to determine specifications, and estimating necessary resources from start to finish. The candidate will evaluate progress, review consultant/contractor reports, and contribute to infrastructure project delivery within scope and budget while ensuring alignment with RAKEZ policies and standards. Effective stakeholder communication, including consultants, contractors, and authorities, is critical. Strong verbal communication and presentation skills are required, along with the ability to assist in periodic project status reporting and risk assessment to ensure any risks or issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
